Buca Quay is a wall dive site in Roatán, Caribbean.
Overview
Buca Quay is the official Roatan Marine Park designation for the section of wall near West End, offering a dramatic wall drift dive with considerable variety. The wall begins at roughly 6 meters and drops away to 27 meters and beyond, carved with side canyons, chutes, and sand falls that create an intricate underwater landscape. Currents here can come from multiple directions, requiring intermediate-level experience and awareness. Atlantic spadefish, permits, crevalle jacks, and spotted eagle rays patrol the wall face, making this one of the more dynamic dives in the West Bay to West End corridor.
