Cisnero’s Point is a wall dive site in Roatán, Caribbean.
Overview
Cisnero’s Point marks a promontory along the Sandy Bay wall where currents sweep nutrients along the reef, supporting prolific sponge and coral growth. The wall here starts shallow and drops steeply, with large barrel sponges anchored along the edge and sea whips extending into the current. Green sea turtles, eagle rays, and schools of horse-eye jacks frequent the area. Visibility is typically 20 to 40 meters, with water temperatures from 26 to 29 degrees Celsius.
