Conran Cave is a cave dive site in Roatán, Caribbean.
Overview
Conran Cave is one of several named cave and cavern sites along the Sandy Bay stretch of reef, where the limestone wall has eroded into overhangs, tunnels, and enclosed formations. Divers can explore the cavern areas where shafts of light penetrate from above, illuminating resident glassy sweepers and copper sweepers inside. The surrounding reef wall supports healthy gorgonians and sponge colonies. Visibility is typically 20 to 40 meters outside the formations, with water temperatures between 26 and 29 degrees Celsius.

Dive Profile
Approach the cave entrance carefully and assess conditions before entering. Maintain excellent buoyancy to avoid disturbing sediment. Follow the cave walls and always keep the entrance in sight unless properly trained for overhead environments. Exit the same way you entered.
