Overview
Diane’s Dream is a Roatan Marine Park mooring site along the West End wall where divers descend through a reef top carpeted in soft corals before reaching the vertical drop-off. The wall here features several pronounced undercuts where spotted eagle rays sometimes shelter, and the deeper sections are adorned with black coral trees that are rarely seen at shallower sites. Yellowtail damselfish aggressively defend their algae gardens on the reef crest, and pairs of gray angelfish glide over the coral. The name suits the site well, as the combination of clear water, healthy reef, and consistent marine life encounters creates the kind of dive that lingers in memory.
