Overview
Happy Jack’s Wall presents a classic Half Moon Bay wall dive with the added character of swim-throughs and canyon formations that typify this stretch of coast. The wall descends to 30 meters at the mooring, with the most interesting features concentrated between 15 and 25 meters where ledges and overhangs create habitat variety. Large Nassau groupers are a consistent presence, often hovering near the wall face watching divers pass. Deepwater gorgonians spread their fan structures wide along the wall, and the occasional Caribbean reef shark cruises past the deeper sections. The site benefits from reliable visibility and moderate currents that keep the water column clear.
