Bisé Morto
A remote far-north Bonaire shore reef near Washington-Slagbaai National Park — intermediate conditions with an exposed rocky coast and a fringing reef in the 8–18 metre range.
Overview
Bisé Morto is a far-north Bonaire shore dive site at the edge of Washington-Slagbaai National Park on the northwest coast. The site name translates roughly as “dead bay” in Papiamentu. Like the other far-north sites, it requires a drive along rougher roads and is more exposed than the central west-coast belt. The shallow maximum depth (18 metres) reflects the shelf character of this section of coast rather than a deep wall.

Marine Life
Northern Bonaire reef species: parrotfish, grunts, snapper, groupers, and typical Caribbean reef fish. The northern coast sees less dive traffic than the central zone.
