Habili Gouda (also spelled Habili Gudda or Habili Gooda) is a small submerged pinnacle located within the Marsa Mubarak dive zone, accessible from Port Ghalib in the Marsa Alam area. Emperor Divers lists “Habili Gudda” as part of their Marsa Mubarak site cluster, and it has been cited by an Emperor Red Sea dive guide manager as a personal favourite site in the Port Ghalib area.

Overview

The site consists of small coral pinnacles rising from the seabed, covered in purple soft corals and fire corals. The pinnacle top hosts dense aggregations of anthias and cardinalfish. A resident juvenile green turtle has been reported at this site. The compact size and relatively sheltered position make it accessible for intermediate divers, and it rewards repeated dives given its compact but detail-rich topography.

Marine Life

  • Dense anthias and cardinalfish clouds around the pinnacle
  • Purple soft corals and fire corals covering the pinnacle structure
  • Resident juvenile green turtle reported at the site
  • Leopard blennies on the safety stop at the coral summit
