House reef oasis

House Reef Oasis is the house reef of The Oasis Dive Resort, located approximately 20 km north of Marsa Alam on a private beach on the Red Sea coast (lat 25.27, lng 34.79). The resort is a joint venture of Werner Lau Diving Centers and Sinai Divers, operating as a PADI 5-star dive centre.
Overview
The house reef is a fringing reef directly accessible from the resort’s jetty and can be dived or snorkelled from 6:00 am to 8:00 pm daily. The reef runs north–south and is gently sloping, leading to a drop-off into deeper water. Divers can choose to head north or south from the jetty entry point. The north–south corridor alignment means the reef receives visits from larger pelagic species moving along the coast. The site also benefits from proximity to excellent offshore sites including Elphinstone Reef, Shaab Marsa Alam, and Samadai Reef (Dolphin House), which are reached by boat from the dive centre.
Marine Life
The reef supports typical Red Sea hard and soft coral communities with moray eels, sea turtles, and a full complement of reef fish. Napoleon wrasse, dolphins, and reef sharks are also reported along the reef’s north–south corridor. The combination of accessible shallow reef and deep drop-off accommodates divers of all experience levels.
