Wreck Nuweiba -40.0m

A shore dive site near Nuweiba in the northern Gulf of Aqaba, reaching a maximum depth of 40 metres where the remains of an old fishing vessel lie on the seabed. The site is one of several reef and wreck entries accessible from the shore around the Multinational Forces and Observers (MFO) camp area south of the Elaria Beach Resort.

The Nuweiba coastline along the Gulf of Aqaba offers relatively easy shore diving across a range of depths. This particular entry reaches 40 metres where the engine and partial remains of an old fishing boat rest on the seabed; other sections of the vessel have been washed away over time. The surrounding reef wall and sandy bottom host a variety of macro life, including nudibranchs, gobies, and cleaning stations among coral heads.

Marine Life
