Entrence 110
Entrence 110 is a reef entry point and dive site in North Male Atoll, one of a series of numbered mooring and descent positions used by local operators along a productive outer reef system.
Overview
The numbered “Entrence” sites in this cluster mark specific entry and mooring positions on the reef edge near Makunudhoo and the outer northern atolls of Male. Entrence 110 sits on the outer reef slope at around 25 meters maximum depth, where the reef crest gives way to a coral-covered wall with sand channels and overhangs at the base. The site features the layered reef community typical of North Male’s outer faces: diverse hard coral gardens at the top, soft corals and sea fans on the mid-slope, and sandy rubble at depth with garden eels and dartfish. Schooling anthias cloud the upper reef, and grey reef sharks patrol the outer edge. The numbered entry system reflects the operational precision of the Maldivian dive industry, where multiple operators use standardised mooring buoys to manage site access across a shared reef.

Tips for Divers
Entry from the mooring buoy is straightforward. Descend directly to depth and work your way up the slope toward the safety stop. Conditions at adjacent numbered sites in this cluster are typically similar, and a two-tank combination of Entrence sites with a kandu dive is a common programme for day-trip operators from Male.
