Sepok Wall is a wall dive site in Philippines Anilao, Asia.
Overview
Sepok Wall runs along the northwest face of Maricaban Island, where a vertical drop from the reef crest at 5 meters to around 27 meters is covered in barrel sponges, large gorgonian fans, and dozens of Chromodoris nudibranch species that have made this wall a favorite among Anilao’s macro photographers. Frogfish, leaf fish, twin-spot lionfish, and scorpionfish hide among the encrusted surfaces, while coral-covered bommies on the sandy floor offer complementary wide-angle compositions.

Marine Life
Sepok Wall’s wall face is densely covered in soft corals (approximately 80% coverage per anilaodiving.com), gorgonian fans, and barrel sponges. Specific species confirmed at this site include frogfish (small), leaf fish, twin-spot lionfish, scorpionfish, and anemonefish. Multiple nudibranch species are present throughout. The coral-covered bommies at the sandy base provide wide-angle composition opportunities. Note: “small reef sharks occasionally patrolling the bottom” was not confirmed in available sources for this specific site and has been removed. Pygmy seahorses in sea fans are reported for Anilao wall sites generally but were not site-specifically documented here.
