When is the best time to dive Fiji?
Diveable year-round; the drier months May–Oct generally have the best visibility. Beqa Lagoon bull sharks are seen year-round; reef mantas around Kadavu and the Yasawas are most reliable roughly May–Oct. Soft corals are spectacular all year.
Is Fiji suitable for beginners?
It depends on the site — some are gentle, others are current-swept or deep and better for advanced divers. Every site page states its difficulty and who it suits; always dive within your limits and with a qualified guide.
Is Fiji a liveaboard or resort destination?
Many of the signature sites here are reached by liveaboard; it varies by itinerary. Liveaboards cover more ground and reach remote sites, while resorts and day boats offer more flexibility.
